Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The Graduate College Journal of Al-Neelain University (GCNU Journal) publishes original, review, and communication papers in all fields of basic and applied sciences, humanities, social and educational sciences, in both Arabic and English.
All submissions undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are kept anonymous to ensure fairness, objectivity, and high scientific quality.
The publication fee is 100,000 SDG (USD 75 for non-Sudanese), payable after receiving payment authorization from the editorial office.
Manuscripts that have been published or submitted elsewhere are not accepted. Papers found with plagiarism exceeding 20% will be immediately withdrawn.
The journal follows a Full Open Access model, allowing free reading and downloading for non-commercial academic use under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, with proper citation
Withdrawal / Retraction Policy
The GCNU Journal reserves the right to withdraw or retract any published or submitted paper under the following conditions:
- Proven plagiarism exceeding 20%.
- Detection of fabricated or falsified data after publication.
- Undisclosed conflict of interest.
Authors will be formally notified of the retraction decision, and the paper will be removed from the website with a public notice of retraction.
Publication fees are non-refundable once the peer-review or publication process has started.
Ethical Conduct Policy
The GCNU Journal adheres to the ethical standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
A Double-Blind Peer Review system is strictly applied to ensure confidentiality, fairness, and impartiality in the review process.
Authors must maintain scientific integrity, disclose any potential conflicts of interest or funding, and ensure that all co-authors have approved the submission.
Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential and provide fair, unbiased, and timely evaluations.
The editorial board ensures transparency, objectivity, and independence in all editorial decisions.
